The general public
- Candidates must be enrolled as full-time students in their first undergraduate degree in the 2020-2021 academic year and willing to live in the National Capital Region for the duration of their contract while pursuing their studies;- Candidates must not have former work experience as a Page on Parliament Hill;- Oral communications at an advanced level in both of Canada’s official languages (English level C and French level C);- Demonstration of the Senate's institutional competencies in their cover letter.
While not mandatory, these elements are considered assets and will be taken into consideration should candidates possess them:- Experience in participating and/or coordinating various extracurricular / volunteer activities;- Experience in providing administrative support;- Awards & other recognitions.
