About this job

The analyst provides front-line support in the delivery and maintenance of new and modified Finance and Procurement Services business applications, including incident and problem management, system and data integrity, testing, release, data table configuration management, security administration, training and account management.

The analyst performs analyses and proposes solutions for upgrades, increased functionality, and for the design of reporting tools that meet client needs.

Screening Criteria

Essential Qualifications

Post-secondary diploma in a field related to employment or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience;

Experience using a financial, HCM, ERP, CRM, logistics, or financial reporting system.

Knowledge

Ability to identify, define and analyze problems or situations, and recommend solutions;
Ability to analyze system changes and improvements, and evaluate options including their impact on the system;
Ability to prepare and conduct pre-implementation testing;
Ability to prepare and analyze financial reports and/or documents;
Knowledge of HR, Accounts Payable or Procurement processes;
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) models.

Asset Qualifications

CPA accreditation
Experience designing or building reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or other similar softwares;
Experience in training new employees;
Experience in the development of presentations, training materials, and/or user guides.
